寶馬迷你 (MINI、BMW MINI) 是英國的小型汽車品牌,現在隸屬於寶馬集團(BMW)旗下。迷你最早起源自「Morris Mini-Minor」之名所為人熟知的特定車款,該車款是由英國汽車公司 (BMC) 在1959年推出,之後發展成為一個旗下有多款小型汽車的品牌,包括 Clubman、Traveller 和 Moke。最初的兩門迷你車款也持續生產,之後在2000年停產。
後繼車款的開發工作從1995年就已經開始,新一代的迷你在2001年正式推出(在英文商標中以全部大寫字母 MINI 表現,以和舊品牌做出區隔)。新迷你的款式從核心的兩門掀背/硬頂車擴展至Clubman(小型箱型車)、敞篷車和 Countryman(跨界休旅車)。 迷你掀背/硬頂車、Clubman 和敞篷車款是在英國牛津車廠 (Plant Oxford)組裝,Countryman 則是在奧地利的麥格納斯太爾 (Magna Steyr)車廠組裝。 迷你品牌在歷史上曾有許多擁有者。1966年英國汽車公司變更成為英國汽車控股,1968年英國汽車控股和利蘭汽車 (Leyland Motors)合併成為英國利蘭(British Leyland)。1980年代英國利蘭公司關閉,1988年路華集團 (Rover Group) 和迷你品牌被英國宇航買下。接著在1994年寶馬(BMW)買下路華集團。2000年路華集團被寶馬裁撤,迷你品牌則改歸寶馬公司所有。 |

A servo motor is a rotational actuator that allows for simple control
of angular position. Servo motors usually consists of a DC motor combined with a control board and a sensor for position feedback. The most common servo motors are called hobby servos, which are commonly used in applications such as robotics and RC cars. Industrial grade servo motors are used in applications such as automated manufacturing or embedded in commercial equipment. Hobby servos typically contain a built in gearhead and are controlled with a PWM motor controller. They usually have a range of motion limited to 180 degrees, though continuous rotation servos also exist. A servo motor is a servomechanism, meaning that it is a motor that uses position feedback to control its motion. The servo motor is paired with some type of encoder to provide position/speed feedback. This feedback loop is used to provide precise control of the mechanical degree of freedom driven by the motor. A servomechanism may or may not use a servomotor. For example, a household furnace controlled by a thermostat is a servomechanism, because of the feedback and resulting error signal, yet there is no motor being controlled directly by the servomechanism. Servo motors are not the only means of providing precise control of motor output. A common alternative is a stepper motor. In a stepper motor, the input command specifies the desired angle of rotation, and the controller provides the corresponding sequence of commutations without the use of any feedback about the position of the system being driven. There are two main ways to control a servo motor. Either a microcontroller, like an Arduino, or other programmable servo driver, or a manual controller can be used. The standard communication method with servos is pulse width modulation. |
